Ocala Regional Medical Center is a 200-bed, full-service, acute care hospital located in the beautiful rolling hills of north central Florida. Ocala Regional’s sister hospital, West Marion Community Hospital, opened in 2002 just five miles from the main campus and one mile west of Interstate 75. The 70-bed facility located on 54 acres features all private rooms and has the capacity for expansion up to 350 beds.

Ocala Regional offers the only fully accredited cancer program in Marion County with a dedicated inpatient cancer unit and all ONS certified nurses. Ocala Regional is a clear leader in laparoscopic bariatric surgical intervention and a volume leader in Neurosurgery where patients receive specialized care in the 22-bed dedicated neuro unit. Deep Brain Stimulation surgery is available at Ocala Regional in addition to a dedicated multi-disciplinary Movement Disorders Clinic.

West Marion offers the state-of-the are da Vinci Surgical Robot where surgeons have performed over 400 robotic prostatectomies. West Marion also boasts of orthopedic excellence with a special med-surg unit devoted to knee and hip replacement patients.
